Chemicals and Petrochemicals

The Group plays a leadership role in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects in the chemical and petrochemical sector. The plants realised to date are mainly for polyethylene and polypropylene, ethylene oxide, ethylenic glycol, propane dehydrogenation (PDH), purified terephthalic acid (PTA), ammonia and fertilizers.

It offers a wide range of competences from feasibility studies to front-end engineering design (FEED), technology selection and project implementation on a lump-sum, turnkey basis.

Within this activity, the Group applies technologies developed by the world’s main licensors, including Basell, Borealis and Mitsubishi Chemicals.

Over the past 10 years, the Group’s list of achievements includes the construction, in Italy and overseas, of 120 petrochemical plants located in Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Asia.
