Infrastructure and Civil Engineering
This business unit works on highly complex architectural and engineering projects, including the design and construction of structures such as:
- roads, motorways, railways, underground and surface urban railway networks, tunnels, bridges and viaducts (infrastructure);
- buildings used for industrial and commercial operations and service industries, public buildings such as schools, offices, university campuses and hospitals (civil engineering).
The Group relies on the collaboration of some of the best-known Italian and international architects, including: Renzo Piano, Richard Meier, Norman Foster, Richard Rogers and Jean Nouvel.
Tecnimont has been authorized by the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport to construct highly complex engineering projects; the company meets the requirements of the “Objective Law” (L. 443/2001), to perform the role of general contractor for strategic works of national importance.
