Maire Tecnimont is a leading Engineering and Main Contracting Group operating worldwide in the  Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals, Power, Infrastructure and Civil Engineering sectors. The Group also has key competences in licensing and IP, and specific focus in renewable energy. On 30 June 2010 the Group posted revenues for about €1,112 million, Ebitda for about €57 million, Ebit for about €47.5 million, Net Income (after minorities) for about €31 million.

The Group has currently:

  • More than 120 polypropylene and polyethylene plants delivered worldwide, making Tecnimont the market leader with a share of approximately 30% of global polyolefin capacity installed in the last six years, including a 40% share in LDPE
  • The largest gas treatment plant ever awarded in Middle East area on LSTK basis (US$4.7 billion)
  • More than 230  power plant projects executed in Italy and abroad with an installed capacity exceeding 20,000 MW
  • Designed more than 1/3 of the high-speed railways network currently in operation in Italy
